Elisha Jamieson, who lives in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, made a beautiful account in a Facebook group that left netizens delighted. His 7-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier puppy Pepper rescued a baby sparrow.
Dogs are very kind beings, it all depends on their upbringing. And sure enough, Pepper is very much loved by her family and passed on that love by saving a baby bird that had fallen from the nest.
The nest was located at the top of the house and when the little dog saw the little bird lying on the lawn, she gently picked it up and took it to its bed inside the house.
The owner used to seeing the pet sprawled in the living room, went to look for it, then came across the sweet scene of Pepper watching over the puppy so that the two felines in the family didn’t attack him.
“She goes crazy whenever the cats bring in a dead bird,” Elisha told Metro and continued, “She’ll bark at them until they drop him and then stand guard over the body.”
The woman, noticing how careful her little dog was with that helpless, decided to help and put him in the garden in the hope that the parents would see him and take him home, but nothing. So she took him to the vet.
“The vet told us the bird would almost certainly have died if not for Pepper. She’s a little star,” Elisha said.
