Last Saturday, the 19th, Luisa Mell published on her Instagram profile the sad account of the abandonment of the little dog Caramela. And she heartily encourages one of her followers to propose to adopt her.
Rejection is an intimate feeling of the person, which can be due to color, class, appearance and among other things. And in turn, being rejected does not mean that the person is bad or has less value. Rejection can be the opportunity to reinvent yourself and chart a new route for life.
Caramela was rejected by her former owner because of the physical condition she would have, the little one would need to have one of her hind legs amputated. And in harsh words the former owner said: “But I don’t want a dog without a paw…”.
Luckily, Instituto Luisa Mell accepted the little girl with open arms. And the love that his former tutor did not offer him, he has received twice as much from the NGO’s volunteers. However, the pain of rejection was stamped on the canine’s face.
“In her eyes we can see the sadness of those who were abandoned and the hope of those who still believe in love”, wrote Luisa.
Caramela was rejected by one, but that doesn’t mean it will be rejected by all. Now, the furry one has the chance to turn around and find a home that truly accepts her the way she is.
“Despite seeing so much sadness, I always believe in happy endings,” she said.
At the end of publication. the activist, hopeful, believes the publication will reach a kind-hearted person who will adopt it.
“I hope an angel sees this post and writes us to adopt our Caramela”.
