A little dog named Dora was found with her hind legs paralyzed, apparently caused by a hit-and-run. Some people noticed the dog, who was on the side of a highway in Mexico, and when they stopped to help her, they realized that she was not alone, but accompanied by a litter.
With a serious injury, Dora ended up with a fractured spine, but even without physical conditions and possibly in pain, the canine struggled to stay in a position that could nurse her puppies.

Fortunately, she and her puppies were rescued and taken to safety. The cubs appeared to be weakened, mainly due to the difficulty in feeding. But thanks to the help of the volunteers, they were fed and Dora was finally able to receive proper care.

According to The Dodo, Dora’s spine was operated on and she was able to regain some movement. However, given the gravity of the case, experts said it was unlikely she would walk again. However, the volunteers would not restrict their efforts to help her get around and provided a wheelchair for Dora.

With so many delicate situations that Dora has already faced, such as feeding her puppies, this would be just another challenge overcome by the canine.

The puppies were adopted, while Dora was transferred to a sanctuary in Washington state called Angels With Misplaced Wings, where she will be assisted in her full recovery.
