Gunnar is an extremely loving and docile puppy, despite the conditions where he was found and rescued.
The animal was abandoned in a place similar to a landfill and was very happy when good people arrived to change his life.
Even in an unhealthy place and with food of dubious origin, the puppy offered a piece of his only slice of bread. Realizing that he was no longer alone and that he would finally be taken from that place.
According to information from the Animal Channel website, the puppy was weakened and weak, but at no time did he stop wagging his tail in happiness. Who rescued him was the NGO Sidewalk Specials, from South Africa.
According to Rachel, one of the shelter’s independent protectors, the puppy was sent to a veterinary consultation, where he received treatment and later went to a temporary home, where he stayed for a week.
Gunnar was adopted very quickly, and after 1 week he was able to meet his adoptive family. Tutor Freya was thrilled to meet him.
“He wasn’t hard to open up to us. It looks like he was very grateful to have been rescued,” the woman told The Dodo.
Even after 3 years of rescue and adoption, Gunnar remains the same docile and loving dog. One of his favorite hobbies is looking for rocks on the beach, but not just any, the pet is meticulous and chooses the best ones.
The times of loneliness and looking for food in the garbage are definitely behind us.
