A dog named Osiris (a Dutch Shepherd breed) and a rat named Riff Rat (which is, as the name implies, a rat) appear in the story. When he was only a few weeks old, this little rat was on the verge of becoming a living being. Fortunately, he was able to be rescued successfully.
After they abandoned him and left him alone, Osiris also had to go through a rescue procedure. While Riff Rat was recuperating, he was a great source of support for him.
Osiris was not intended to remain with this family indefinitely but rather for a limited period. On the other hand, he enchanted them all, and they fell head over heels in love with him. Then they concluded that he would remain with them.
Even though these two beautiful creatures are opposed, Osiris was a great help to his friend during difficult times.
Such friendships are rare, especially between animals of different species, and should be cherished. The two of them are inseparable at all times.

Of course, no one believed they would accept each other during their first meeting, but their confidence grew as time went on.
Right away, they sat next to each other and became best friends. The fact that a rat occasionally enters a dog’s mouth and cleans its teeth demonstrates how much they rely on one another for survival.
The man who orchestrated everything said he was not in the least concerned that the dog would eat the rat because the dog has aided the rescue so many times that he has earned the title of “the most gentle dog in the world.”
