We would never want to hear sad stories about our beloved four-legged friends, yet there are so many. Too many puppies suffer from heartless humans who don’t treat them with the respect they deserve, but sometimes certain stories (thankfully) have a happy ending. Just like that of this injured and abandoned dog.
The journey of this beautiful all black dog didn’t start in the best way. We know nothing about her and her past about her, except that one day a lady saw her wandering around in fear, on the edge of a very busy road. A worrying situation in itself, even more so if we think that it was a very cold day and it was snowing a lot.
The sweet lady immediately realized that something was wrong. The dog had not only been abandoned in the cold and frost, but she was injured in the leg and limped, losing her balance. If she had stayed there watching, she who knows what would have happened to this puppy.
She was unfortunate because she met someone who wanted to get rid of her, just when she was hurt and needed help most. But in her misfortune a ray of light and hope arrived: the lady stopped her car and tried in every way to approach her, to bring her to safety.
It was not easy, because the dog was very frightened and she did not let anyone near, not even those who loved her. At first she kept her distance, avoiding any contact with this person but in the end, with a lot of patience, a small miracle happened.
For the dog, the time of abandonment and solitude is over: the lady took her in her arms and immediately took her into the car, to warm her up a little. And, once they got home, she took care of her as if she were her daughter.
Now the paw is healed and the sweet puppy lives in a beautiful house, with a family that loves her so much!
