The Great Sphinx is one of the most intriguing buildings ever created, and Egyptian architecture and artifacts have long captivated humanity’s attention. Archaeologists recently uncovered something previously unknown to the general population.
Emile Baguettes, a French archaeologist, found the Great Sphinx in 1936. When Baguettes found the Sphinx, it was half-buried in the sand.
When Edgar, a prophet, was under the effect of hypnotic substances, he claimed to have discovered a library within the Great Sphinx.
This library had a huge number of books and manuscripts connected to the origins of these buildings, with the theory that Egyptian architecture is a replica of Atlantis’s lost metropolis.
A team of archaeologists later discovered a network of tunnels within the Sphinx in 1987. They soon found out that these tunnels went nowhere, adding to the mystery.
According to Charles Russel’s reconstruction of the Sphinx, it featured a massive room with an entrance in the Sphinx’s head. Simultaneously, the Sphinx’s inside was riddled with hidden tunnels that led to various positions.
What’s more amazing is that underneath the Sphinx, there existed another pyramid. This pyramid might be the tomb of Pharaoh Menes, the first monarch of the Egyptian Dynasty, who was selected by the gods to govern the Earth, according to tradition.
Egypt never fails to amaze us with fresh discoveries and riddles that remain unexplained. It’s strange how the hole in Sphinx’s skull was hidden. How do you feel about all of this?
