Human contact with alien cultures may end in tragedy. After encountering aliens, British ufologist Nick Pope prophesied that humanity will die instantly.

Experts, amateurs, and enthusiasts continue to make efforts to communicate with the inhabitants of other worlds and galaxies from year to year.
Nick Pope outlined how such an aim of humanity may end. The ufologist bases his assertions on personal experience, including work with the British government to investigate strange flying objects.
Contact with extraterrestrials, he claims, will bring nothing good. Pope predicted that humanity would perish instantly at the hands of aliens. Representatives of an alien society, according to the expert, may fly in with just one purpose in mind: to conquer our planet.
He used the colonialists of the 15th century who colonized North America as an example. The indigenous peoples of these lands suffered greatly at the hands of the colonialists during the time, since they lacked the same formidable weaponry as the Europeans.
If mankind ever makes contact with aliens, the latter will function as colonists, while we, with our “sticks,” will act as Indians.
For this reason, Nick thinks the activity of scientists seeking to uncover faraway galaxies and planets where life may exist perilous, as if extraterrestrial spacecraft can “leap” into our solar system, then we can presume the magnitude of their armaments.
