NASA has revealed these incredible images of the center of our galaxy.
These mind-blowing photographs show that the core of our galaxy is a huge cross-shaped structure.
These images were taken by the Hubble Space Telescope’s Wide Field Planetary Camera. M51A, the Whirlwind Galaxy’s center, is where the formation forms.
According to NASA, the mass absorption of dust generated this odd cross-shaped structure in the center of the Galaxy, which marks the approximate position of a large black hole with a mass equivalent to 1 million stars of comparable mass to our Sun.
Furthermore, NASA asserts that the cross structure’s darkest bar represents a gigantic dust ring with a diameter of 100 light-years.
The picture obtained by NASA is barely 1100 light-years wide, illustrating a tiny fraction of the huge and active galaxy.
Do you still think we’re the only ones in the universe?
